We are offering Life drawing classes on Wednesday evenings between 7 to 9.30. The classes alternate between life drawing one week and Portraiture the next week. It doesn’t matter if you like to express yourself abstract or realistically, if you are a beginner or experienced, its about the taking part that counts.
The evening consists of a single pose for 2 hours with a 20-30 min break. Wine and nibbles will be provided during the break as well as tea and coffee.

Facilities
The academy has purpose built facilities. We provide professional easels and benches. The easels are equipped with work stations to help students organise their materials. The layout of the class is centred around the model giving a verity of angles to choose from. The working are balanced 5200K lights used to provide continuity when observing the model and mixing colour.
Timetable
A typical lesson will last 2.5 hours with a 20-30min break in the middle. Wine and nibbles will be provided.
Materials
Paper and Charcoal will be provided. You may bring any materials that you want to work with.
Instruction
“This is a none instructed class.” However Louis will be on hand to give advice. If your interested in attending a Portrait Workshop then this is a good opportunity to check out the facilities on offer.

Sitting or Standing
Below is a diagram of the seating plan. The overhead plan illustrates the circular seating arrangement. The stand up easels are on the outer perimeter and the sitting down donkey easels on the inner perimeter of the circle. Places are on a first come first served basis.
